Reflection

I am choosing my post on Characterization on Fahrenheit 451 for my best blog. I really think this blog post shows my writting voice.

A phrase that really shows my writting voice is, "Through reading this book so far I have come to reason that Guy Montag is  a very curious character." I believe this post shows my voice because it shows my personallity through this phrase. It has my own type of writing craft wooven in to an ordinary sentence. Another phrase that shows my voice is, "He was asking if it was a happy ending but I thought deeper and thought he was referencing the world around him." I believe this qoute shows my personallity because I question a lot of things and I thought this qoute showed that through my writting.

I have lots of different types of Diction and Syntax through this blog post. First, my blog has a lot of informal diction. One example is, "He would have a trimmed brown beard below his chin and around his mouth." This quote shows a lot of low or informal diction. There are no really sophisticated words in this quote. Just a lot of small detail words that will paint a picture into your head about what you are reading. My syntax in this piece has a lot of different sentence lengths and patterns. One example of a short sentence is, "Not so tall but not to short." This quote is an example of a short sentence. It shows detail and is quick to the point. One example of a long sentence is, "He always questioned the world around him and that quote could describe the emotion he was feeling." This quote shows that I am bringing two concepts together through one sentence. Long sentences have the ability to do that and that is why I have a variety of sentence lengths.
