Summer Reading August 14th Second Post

Of the choices on the list I specifically chose this book because of the author, Walter Dean Myers is one of my favorite authors. I have read several of his books including, Sunrise Over Fallujah, Fallen Angels, and more. He puts a lot of great detail into his writing. The title of this book drew my attention as well as knowing the author and his works also drew my attention. I didn't see many connections between myself and the novel. The only connections that I saw where that we were both in out teenage years and facing many problems. I personally would recommend this book to people who are in there teenage years and are facing problems with the law or just problems of their own. I would also recommend this book to people who are maybe going into filming school because this book is setup like a movie and it taught me how to portray certain scenes. Since Steve Harmon wanted to be a movie producer, his trial was setup like if he made a movie that's how it would look like. The last group of people I would like to recommend this book to are people who are going into Law School or people just interested in learning about how the court system works.
